Piment d'Espelette is a fantastically flavorful red chili pepper that is legendary among chili lovers The chilies grow in the Basque Country in southwestern France, and Piment d'Espelette was AOP certified in 2002.
The sun-ripened chilies are hand-harvested gently and dried. Piment d'Espelette has a slightly smoky flavor, light spiciness and you can use it in many amazing dishes. We love using it on an avocado dish, over pasta and with fish - use it with or instead of freshly ground pepper.

SUITABLE FOR Sprinkle over pasta, rice or steamed vegetables. On avocado, game and toasted bread with a good olive oil and a little sea salt. On cottage cheese, for marinades and sprinkled on soups. Or on filled chocolates, like they do in Espelette!
